Life Lived Well

When I look back at life I can only see the lessons, and then the insight gained from them. When I look ahead to the future I am amazed how everything was leading me to this path.

There are hundreds of things I wish I had done differently, yet not one single regret.

There are moments I wish I had made better choices, at the same time I trust the process.

The most important lessons:

Love is all there is.

Always choose love.

Perspective is power.

How we choose to look at things is more important than what actually happens.

Assume positive intent.

Other people aren’t trying to ‘hurt us’ or ‘get us’. They are just doing the best they can on their journey.

Never compare yourself to others.

Instead compare yourself to the person you were yesterday.

How you feel about yourself dictates what you allow into your life.

Life is a mirror that reflects who you are and how you see the world. Choose wisely.

Most importantly, I have 100% CONTROL over what I think and feel.

If I don’t like the way something makes me feel, rather than trying to change it, or the person, I should start with changing how I feel about it. That’s a much faster path to joy.
