It seems like we’re nearing the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cases and hospitalizations continue to decrease as the vaccinated percentage of the population grows. Life is beginning to look and feel a bit more like it did pre-pandemic.
So, while certain parts of the world are making efforts to return to normal, the truth is, the pandemic has left a permanent mark on all our lives. We each have an opportunity to define our “new normal.”
Chances are you were required to make some changes over the past year. Were you let go from your job? Did you start working remotely? Perhaps you found a new interest or passion as you searched for something to occupy your free time.
With businesses starting to operate at full capacity and remote employees being asked to return to the workplace, it’s time to evaluate what’s important to you.
Does the thought of going back to an office full-time seem terrible? Or perhaps, you’re craving the routine and sense of normalcy that office life brings.
Maybe you got to spend more time with family and you’re not ready to let that go. Or maybe you want to turn your newfound passion into a career or business.
Whether you realize it or not, you’ve learned a lot about yourself over the past year. What have you learned? How have you evolved? You do not have to go back to the same life you had before if you want something different.
If you know what you want your life to look like moving forward, it’s time to go after it. Start taking steps towards creating it!
If you know you’re not ready to go back to the old normal, but still need clarity on your new normal, we can help.
It’s time to find the thing that sparks your passion and excitement.
Start by uncovering your purpose – the thing you were put on this earth to do. Then determine your persona – how you like to operate in work and life. Once you’ve uncovered those, we can help you determine your path – which direction you should take your next steps. Is it time for a career change? A new relationship? Are you ready to start a business?
Just because the world is starting to return to the way it was, does not mean you have to. If what you learned about yourself over the past year ignites a spark in you, use it to create a new normal.
